St Albans City and District Council’s annual Alban Street Festival is having a make-over for one year only, to feature, this year, as part of the national celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. St Albans Platinum Party, will take place on bank holiday Thursday 2nd June 2022 as part of celebrations right across the country.

Entertainment and music will celebrate the diverse and inclusive society we have become over the course of the Queen’s 70-year reign, with a multicultural programme including party music from different traditions.

Traders selling hot food and various drinks will line the streets, with tables and chairs for people to get together and enjoy the atmosphere.

As the event runs into the evening, the toilets at Drovers Way and the Civic Centre will be open until 10.30pm.
